HB Rentals Donates Chapel to Oilfield Christian Fellowship
BROUSSARD, LA (February 21, 2008, 4:51pm) — HB Rentals, a Superior Energy Services company, recently donated the first Oilfield Fellowship chapel placed within an oilfield man camp. It is situated in Big Piney, Wyoming.
HB Rentals donated two 10'x 50' trailers, removed a side wall from each, joined them together and built a roof over the new building.
The North American Mission Board (NAMB) of the Southern Baptist furnished the interior of the chapel, including purchasing computers and providing phone lines.
Mission Service Corps, an organization within the NAMB that places people in volunteer mission positions throughout the United States and Canada, completed the facility, building ramps, porches and additional amenities.
For 10 years, the NAMB has been starting churches and sending missionaries throughout the nation. The donation of this chapel at Big Piney is part of a continuous effort by the NAMB to provide such facilities throughout the oil patch.
