Superior Energy Services Consolidates Assets to Form Pressure Pumping Division
NEW ORLEANS, LA. (January 27, 2009) -- Superior Energy Services, a global provider of oilfield services and rental equipment, has combined its existing pumping assets to create a consolidated Pressure Pumping Services division.
The new division specializes in a broad range of pressure pumping services including primary and remedial cementing, stimulation services, gravel packing, miscellaneous pumping and thermal services to optimize the outcome of a well.
This restructuring is intended to combine all of Superior's pumping services to provide focus on the group as a whole and create a knowledge transfer that will allow the strengths of each to be manifested in the other. The merging of the companies increases the level of expertise across several product lines and throughout a much larger geographical area.
Superior's Pressure Pumping Services provides primary cementing and pressure pumping services through well-trained and experienced personnel and high-quality equipment and products. The division operates throughout the Gulf Coast from offices in Brookshire and Longview, Texas; Broussard, La.; and Laurel, Miss.
