Career Training Center
Superior's Career Training Center (CTC) offers instruction to all industries and companies seeking excellent safety training and consulting. The CTC offers its students the same instruction that has helped Superior achieve an industry leading safety record.
The CTC provides customers with the best trained, most knowledgeable and safest working personnel, delivering training based on the standards and protocols of OSHA, United States Coast Guard (USCG), Minerals Management Service (MMS), the American Petroleum Institute, PEC, SafeGulf, the National Safety Council, ANSI, Medic First Aid and other industry organizations.
CTC's staff is dedicated to staying abreast of new trends and technologies, continuously expanding its technical training programs.
Through its facilities in Harvey, La., and New Iberia, La., as well as at customer worksites, CTC provides the following services:
- Regulatory training
- Instructor-led, hands-on courses with actual equipment
- Custom course development
- Training plan development
- Consulting work including writing safety manuals, conducting safety meetings, conducting and/or assisting with audits
- Tracking of personnel training (database management)
Superior's CTC is also an approved training provider for the Louisiana based Incumbent Worker Training Grants and has an experienced Grant Manager to assist customers in obtaining training grants.
