Subsea Intervention Lubricator System

Get to the bottom — and protect the bottom line — with SILS

The Subsea Intervention Lubricator System (SILS) can help operators reduce costs and improve service scheduling for subsea plugging and abandonment, slickline and wireline services in depths up to 10,000 feet.

The SILS made its debut in late 2007, performing a well intervention in the Gulf of Mexico where it successfully closed and isolated a depleted lower zone and opened a productive upper zone in a subsea well.

A joint venture between Superior Energy Services and Oceaneering, the SILS is designed to perform cost-effective, safe, deepwater wireline-based subsea well interventions without the need for a drilling rig or workover riser.

All valves are normally closed. All valves have provisions for ROV override.
Rams have provision for ROV override. All rams are fail safe closed. All rams lock in closed position.
5500' IWOCS control with 3 spare leads for tree control
Spare circulation line for connection to annulus
Dual coil tubing for circulation, 7,000 ft depth capability
